Eric H. Chudler, PhD, is the executive director of the Center for Sensorimotor Neural Engineering and a neuroscientist at the University of Washington. He hosts the popular Web site Neuroscience for Kids and lives in Seattle, Washington.

Cute, Funny, Educational

Fun haiku with explanations that actually teach you! And it's a size you can carry around, read while you're in the neurologist's office, for instance.

A pocket-sized laugh!

Bought this as a stocking stuffer for my son-in-law, a newly minted Ph.D., who just moved himself and my daughter across country to pursue post-doc research. It is a cleverly written little book and who knew that neuroscience could offer such fertile field for Haiku! We shared a long-distance laugh over just a few succinct syllables.
